Weekly/Bi-Weekly Maintenance

Fertilization/Pesticides

Growing a healthy lawn is hard work. Knowing when to fertilize and which fertilizer to use is vital to growing a lawn your neighbors admire. We have certified staff on our team that knows the ins and outs of fertilization, and when to use one fertilizer over another.

Aerating your lawn allows it to take in more water and nutrients to penetrate into your grasses' roots. It is also a good idea to overseed your lawn after aerating. A great time to do this is during the fall, when the weather is cooler. This helps fill in bare spots and thicken grass where it appears thin.

Aeration/Over-Seeding

Thatch is the layer of dead grass between your lawn and soil. Believe it or not, it is actually good for you lawn. So why dethatch? too thick of a layer of thatch can cause problems for your lawn such as preventing it from getting adequate water or sun. SO how much much is too much? we recommended giving us a call when the thatch in your lawn is about 1/2" thick or more.
